The fight was reported by sources with knowledge of the event. These two fighters battled it out in a fight of the year candidate at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot in December of 2013. The fight ended in a draw after a five round war but was changed to a no contest after 'Bigfoot' tested positive for elevated testosterone levels. Hunt (10-10-1 MMA, 5-4-1 UFC) was on a five fight losing streak when he was signed by the UFC, and lost his promotional debut to Sean McCorkle. After that, he won four straight with three knockouts. He then lost to Junior dos Santos, fought Bigfoot, and knocked out Roy Nelson before he was awarded with a interim title shot against Fabricio Werdum. Hunt lost that fight via TKO and went on to fight Stipe Miocic. Miocic brutalised Hunt for five rounds before finishing him. 'Bigfoot' (19-7-1 MMA, 3-4-1 UFC) fought now heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in his debut, losing via TKO in the first round. In his second and third bouts, he defeated Travis Browne and Alistair Overeem before losing again to Cain Velasquez, this time, though, for the heavyweight title. Silva then fought Mark Hunt before losing two consecutive fights to Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir. Earlier this month, Silva rebounded from two possible career ending losses, to stop Soa Palelei in the second round at UFC 190. UFC 193 is headlined by a welterweight title scrap between "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler and "The Natural Born Killer" Carlos Condit. The event is scheduled for Melbourne, Australia but the venue has not been announced yet.
