Europe’s largest consumer fitness expo partners with BAMMA organisation to deliver top class MMA action at the show and discounts on BAMMA 25.
Having already announced the new Combat Zone area at BodyPower UK 2016, Europe’s largest consumer fitness expo, organisers are stepping up their martial arts coverage with an exclusive, high-profile partnership with BAMMA – the UK’s leading MMA promotion.

With BAMMA 25: Champion vs. Champion set to be a sell out at the Barclaycard Arena on Saturday 14th May, BodyPower has moved to partner with the MMA giants giving fans the chance to see the return of BAMMA’s Heavyweight Champion Mark’The Hand of’ Godbeer, as he takes on former training partner and Lonsdale Heavyweight Champion Stuart ‘He-Man’ Austin, as well as a fantastic amateur UKMAAF MMA tournament fronted by BAMMA on the show floor over the BodyPower weekend.

The undercard will also feature the likes of Lightweight Champion Martin '.50 Cal’ Stapleton, and unbeaten fighter Marc ‘Bonecrusher’ Diakiese in a fantastic night of action, following a great amateur battle in the NEC against the backdrop of BodyPower Expo – with over 90,000 fitness enthusiasts set to attend.

BodyPower Managing Director Steve Orton commented: “After we announced Zara Phythian and our new Combat Zone feature at the expo delivering a national martial arts content, it would have been easy to rest on our laurels and assume this covered that aspect of the visitor profile. But with the likes of Conor McGregor propelling MMA into notoriety in the UK to such high levels, we felt we could do more. Partnering with a huge organisation like BAMMA gives our MMA fans a great competition during the BodyPower weekend but also gives them the chance to make a weekend of it! They can come to the expo on Saturday and Sunday and take in the BAMMA 25 event – which will be really appealing.”

The BAMMA area will have a packed three-day schedule from the 13th to 15th May 2016 and mixed martial arts enthusiasts have every reason to be excited about BodyPower Expo 2016 with the amateur competition on offer.
