On Saturday night during UFC 199, the news broke that Brock Lesnar would be returning to the UFC for the upcoming "200" card. However, no official opponent was slated until now. Announced live on ESPN Monday morning, Brock Lesnar will face Mark Hunt at the monumental UFC 200 event. The event will take place on July 9th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brock Lesnar (5-3), known for his years spent in the WWE, last competed inside the octagon in December of 2011. His illustrious MMA career began in 2007, defeating Min-Soo Kim before signing to the UFC. Despite falling to Frank Mir by submission in his second ever professional fight, Lesnar rallied to earn a dominate decision win over Heath Herring and a TKO victory over Randy Couture, this securing his right as the UFC Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar followed up by defeating Frank Mir via second round TKO in their rematch at UFC 100, and submitting Shane Carwin in the second round. Lesnar would then fall in his next two fights, losing the belt to Cain Velasquez and being stopped by Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. He would then retire at the time from MMA citing prior and continuous struggles with diverticulitis. Mark Hunt (12-10-1) is one of the most fan-favorite fighters on the UFC’s roster. His name propelled to the attention of many during his early years in K-1 kickboxing defeating the likes of Adam Watt, Jerome Le Banner, Stefan Leko, Mike Bernardo, and Gary Goodridge. Hunt made the move to MMA and found success with his time in PRIDE, defeating notables Wanderlei Silva and Mirko Cro Cop. Despite at one point losing six fights in a row between July of 2006 and September of 2010, Hunt would rally to win 7 of his last 11 fights to date including wins over Frank Mir, Bigfoot Silva, Roy Nelson, Stefan Struve, Cheick Kongo, and Ben Rothwell. 9 of Hunt's 12 wins have come by way of knockout, with the remaining three coming by decision.   UFC 200 Fight Card: Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar Cain Velasquez vs. Travis Browne Cat Zingano vs. Julianna Pena Johny Hendricks vs. Kelvin Gastelum T.J.
