CJ Meeks out, Bill Beaumont fights Marcin Prostko at BAMMA 23

BAMMA Heavyweight C.J. Meeks has pulled out of his fight with Marcin Prostko which was set for BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions and has been replaced by Bill Beaumont. Bill Beaumont BAMMA 23 BAMMA announced the change on their official Twitter account. CJ Meeks was set to make his BAMMA debut and was looking to make it three in a row, but unfortunately, he has had to pull out of his fight at BAMMA 23 with an undisclosed injury. The Englishman is on a two fight win streak and has four professional bouts, all by submission. The man filling in for him,"Super" Bill Beaumont last fought at UFC Bantamweight Brad Pickett's promotion Rise of Champions just a few weeks ago and finished his opponent, David Round, in the first round; see what I did there. Beaumont holds a professional record of 7-0 and has improved every time out. Marcin Prostko, who will now face Beaumont, is also undefeated, holding a professional record of 4-0. The Pole is set to make his BAMMA debut but will have to fight to his full potential to have a chance of Beating "Super" Bill. BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions takes place inside the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England on Nov. 14and is headlined by an interim Heavyweight Championship fight between Thomas Denham and Ruben Wolf.
