Diego Sanchez moves to featherweight, faces Ricardo Lamas in Mexico

image On Wednesday, UFC officials announced a featherweight bout between Ricardo Lamas and Diego Sanchez for the UFC's third trip to Mexico in November. Lamas, coming off a first-round TKO loss to top contender Chad Mendes, will be looking to stamp his name back in the title picture with a win over the veteran, Sanchez. Sanchez, on the other hand, will be moving down to featherweight for the first time in his career and will become only the second man to fight in four different weight classes in the UFC. He will be looking to reinvent himself after coming off two decision losses at lightweight and a highly questionable decision win against Ross Pearson in June of 2014. UFC Fight Night 78 takes place live from Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico on Nov. 21. The card will air live on FOX Sports 1 and is headlined by a welterweight fight between Matt Brown and Kelvin Gastelum.
