Elite Warrior Challenge 9 Elite Warrior Challenge 9 will take place live from the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia on February 6th, 2016. The main event will feature Matt Van Buren (6-4), a UFC and Bellator veteran, and Derek Weaver (2-4), who fights out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The fight will take place at a catchweight of 215-pounds. The co-main bout will feature Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett (27-29), a notable PRIDE veteran taking on Terrell Hobbs (9-9) in a catchweight fight of 150-pounds. The victory moved his professional record to 7-4 and his first victory since his release from the UFC. 18 Charles Bennett (left) and Terrell Hobbs (right) moments before the fight. Bennett secured a heel hook at one minute and seventeen seconds in the first round, giving Hobbs his fifth consecutive loss. Bennett is now 2-1 since returning to professional competition in October of 2015 after nearly three years without a fight. 21 William Webb (blue) looking to secure the neck of Eric Belcher (red and white). Belcher came back to score a third round triangle choke at one minute and twenty-two seconds of the third round. The judges scored the bout unanimously for the winner Gravely. He now sits at 3-1, his only loss coming in his professional debut. 28 Chris Rollins (red and white) and Brandon Sandford (blue) moments before the fight. After three hard fought rounds, Rollins earned a unanimous decision victory. Rollins moved to 2-1-1 while Sandford fell to 1-2. 29 Greg Walker (blue) with top position over Brandon Pennington (red and white). Walker scored a unanimous decision victory, his second professional win in his second professional fight.
