Joanna Jedrzejczyk's manager Tiago Okamura told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Sunday that the UFC women's strawweight champion has a broken right hand and will need surgery. Jedrzejczyk (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) broke her hand during her three round beating of Jessica Penne in June, and has broken it again during her war against Valerie Letourneau. Jedrzejczyk manager Okamura said that the break is in a different place, but still requires surgery. Okamura did confirm that they have scheduled the surgery already; he said it would take place in a few weeks in Australia.
