Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger Replaces Waterson, Faces Tecia Torres at UFC 194

With Michelle Waterson out of her UFC 194 bout against Tecia Torres due to a knee injury, UFC newcomer Jocelyn-Jones Lybarger has stepped in on short notice to challenge the "Tiny Tornado." UFC officials confirmed the new match up on Friday. The MMA Lab's Jones-Lybarger is big and aggressive, if unpolished. Most recently, she took a one sided decision over seasoned veteran Zolia Frausto-Gurgel at RFA 31 to claim the organisation's strawweight title. Tecia Torres, on the other hand, comes from a traditional martial arts background, holding black belts in both Taekwondo and Karate. She also has a rapidly developing offensive wrestling game. Torres has gone 2-0 since her time on "The Ultimate Fighter 20," having rattled off fairly uninspired decision wins against Angela Magana and Angela Hill in the UFC. At 6-0, Torres is undefeated as a professional, holding notable wins over Rose Namajunas, Paige Van Zant and Felice Herrig. Torres vs. Jones-Lybarger is scheduled for the preliminary card. UFC 194 takes place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 12 and is headlined by a long awaited featherweight title unification bout between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.
