UFC officials announced the match-up today. Lineker (26-7 MMA, 7-2 UFC) is currently riding a three fight win streak with stoppages over Alptekin Ozkilic and Francisco Rivera. He also holds a decision victory over Ian McCall. Since being forced up to bantamweight by the UFC due to his weight issues, Lineker has been unstoppable and will be hoping to make it four in a row in his home country of Brazil. "Hands of Stone" has lived up to his nickname inside the octagon thus far, with four TKO finishes from seven wins. Font (12-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) entered the UFC with a bang as he knocked George Roop out cold in just two minutes and nineteen seconds of the first round. Font was out for the whole of 2015 following his debut win before returning at UFC Fight Night 81 and picking up another finish, this time against Joey Gomez in the second round. Font will be looking to stay more active this year and propel himself up the UFC rankings, but he has a tough job on his hands in the form of John Lineker. UFC 198 takes place live from the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba Brazil and is headlined by a heavyweight title fight between current champion Fabricio Werdum and #2 ranked Stipe Miocic.
