A 178-pound catchweight bout between late replacement Michael Hill and Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz has been scrapped from Saturday's Prestige FC 1. Prestige FC officials confirmed the news to MMAjr.co on Friday. Hill fought earlier this month at Elite 1 - "Fall Brawl" and dropped a unanimous decision loss. He was issued a 60-day medical suspension by the New Brunswick commission, so was unable to compete at Prestige FC. According to a press release issued by promotion officials on Friday, they attempted to appeal the suspension but had no luck. Hill was a short notice replacement for Jordan McKay, who was forced out of the initially scheduled bout with Ksiazkiewicz with an injury. With the removal of Hill vs. Ksiazkiewicz, Prestige FC 1 proceeds with 10 professional bouts. Prestige FC 1 takes place live from the Crescent Point Place in Weyburn, SK, Canada on Oct. 24. In the main event, Mike Rhodes faces Taki Uluilakepa in a 175-pound catchweight bout.
