The scrappy Nate Diaz has returned to welterweight to face the tough Matt Brown at UFC 189, in a three-round bout that will likely produce fireworks. The bout was confirmed on Wednesday's edition of UFC Tonight. Diaz (18-10) returned to the Octagon after a year long layoff to fight now-lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 13 last December, but was dominated from start to finish and lost a lopsided decision.  Prior to that, he picked up a stoppage win over Gray Maynard at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. Brown (21-13) has been win-less since an exciting stoppage win over Erick Silva last May, dropping losses to top welterweights now-champ Robbie Lawler and former champ Johny Hendricks.  The loss to Lawler snapped a seven-fight winning streak, which included wins over the likes of Jordan Mein, Mike Pyle, and Stephen Thompson. The card placement for the bout is unknown at this time. UFC 189 takes place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 11.  In the headliner, featherweight champ Jose Aldo takes on Conor McGregor for the belt.
