I just wanna say a huge thanks to the ufc for giving me the great opportunity to compete at the highest level in combat... Posted by 'Stormin' Norman Parke on Friday, 1 April 2016
Parke (21-5-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) went undefeated in his first five UFC bouts with four wins and one draw, but has struggled to find his top form of late and is 1-3 in his last four bouts. The 29-year-old took decision wins over Colin Fletcher, Kazuki Tokudome and Jon Tuck respectively before fighting to a draw with Leonardo Santos. Following the draw, Parke faced Gleison Tibau and lost the fight via split decision before facing Francisco Trinaldo and, again, losing a tight split decision. Parke faced Reza Madadi at UFC Dublin in October in a must win fight, and win he did; Parke took home a decision victory. Most recently, Parke lost at UFC London to Rustam Khabilov. The news is yet to be officially announced by the UFC and therefore could still be an April Fools prank, but, it seems pretty legit.
