UFC's Giovani Decker confirmed Ariel Helwani's initial report earlier today. Cummins (8-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) took his UFC debut against now light heavyweight champion Daniel Comrier on two weeks notice and lost in the first round. He rebounded from that by putting together a three-fight win streak with wins over Roger Narvaez, Kyle Kingsbury and Antonio Carlos Junior before losing a first round knockout to Ovince Saint Preux. In his last outing, Cummins stopped MMA veteran Rafael Cavalcante via TKO in the third round. Teixiera (23-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) started his UFC campaign with an impressive five fight win streak, but couldn't manage to get the better of then light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. After that fight, Teixiera fought Phil Davis and lost a decision to the talented wrestler. In his last outing, Teixiera got back to winning ways as he choked Ovince Saint Preux unconscious in the third round of their five round main event fight. UFC Fight Night 77  takes place at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil, on Nov. 7 and is headlined by a middleweight rematch between MMA legens Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort.
