Reasons to watch Machida vs Mousasi

Hello Junior Fight Fans!

This post is going to be why I think you should watch Lyoto Machida vs Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night 36.

First off, let me just say: I'm posting this because I've heard a couple of fans saying that this will be another Machida fight, a boring one that has no excitement, but in my opinion, it's going to be the exact opposite.

If any of you saw Gegard Mousasi fight Ilir Latifi last year, you've seen a lacklustre performance.  He had an injured knee and didn't really break a sweat in that fight.

If you saw Lyoto Machida in his last fight you've seen a rejuvenated Middleweight contender. He came in looking in great shape and knocked Munoz out in the first round.

Anyway, let's get started. I think Junior Fight Fans should watch Lyoto Machida vs Gegard Mousasi because Mousasi hasn't got the speed that Machida does, he doesn't have the power that Machida has and for this reason I think it will be a very fun fight. I think Machida will go forward, land hard body kicks and wear Mousasi down, then when Mousasi is tired, he will be able to land hard punches and kicks.

How I think the fight is going to play out: Machida coming forward, landing hard body kicks and moving out the way of Mousasi's strikes, wearing Mousasi down by the end of the second round, then dominating the fight on the feet for the full third round, doing the same for the fourth round and around the 2-3 minute mark of the fourth round.  I think Machida will finish Gegard Mousasi with strikes.

Just for the record, I don't think Machida will KO Mousasi, I think he will drop Mousasi with a body or head kick, and then finish him with ground and pound.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to comment how you think the fight is going to play out!
