Sage Northcutt gets new opponent at welterweight at UFC on FOX 18

image Earlier today, UFC officials announced that Sage Northcutt's original opponent, Andrew Holbrook, was injured and forced out of his UFC on FOX 18 bout with the Texan and that Bryan Barbarena would step in on short notice, the bout is now at welterweight as opposed to lightweight, due to Barbarena not having sufficient time to cut to 155 lbs. Northcutt, who burst onto the scene after being a product of UFC president, Dana White's new series, 'Looking For A Fight' had an explosive debut at UFC 192, getting a quick TKO over Francisco Trevino. He then added to that resume getting a submission finish at UFC Fight Night 80 in Las Vegas on December 10 over Cody Pfister. Barbarena will be looking to build on a slow start to his UFC career, going 1-1 so far with his last fight being a loss at UFC 186 to Chad Laprise. The fight goes down at UFC Fight Night on FOX which is  on January 30 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
