UFC heavyweight contender Stipe Miocic was forced out of his co-main event bout against Ben Rothwell next weekend in Dublin, Ireland. The Ohio fighter suffered an undisclosed injury during training. Following a report from MMA Kings, UFC officials confirmed the news on Tuesday afternoon. Miocic got back into the winning column earlier this year with a dominant TKO win over Mark Hunt. Prior to that, he lost a close decision to former champ Junior dos Santos. Rothwell, most recently, defeated Matt Mitrione by first-round submission. Prior to that, he stopped Alistair Overeem at UFC Fight Night 50 in September of 2014. Promotion officials are currently seeking a replacement for Miocic. UFC Fight Night 76 takes place live from the O2 Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Oct. 24. In the main event, Dustin Poirier faces Joseph Duffy.
