Rosholt (14-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) finished only one of his six UFC victories, with a third round TKO victory over Josh Copeland after a laboured fight at UFC 185. Rosholt's first loss in the UFC came after he insisted he wanted to showcase his striking and make himself a more exciting fighter. Rosholt got tagged on numerous occasions before being knocked out cold by Oleksiy Olinyk. Following the loss, Rosholt went 3-0 inside the UFC before most recently losing a Unanimous Decision to Roy Nelson in a less than entertaining fight. The news has come as a slight shock as Rosholt had a mostly successful stint in the UFC but with the UFC trying to cut the payroll at the minute, it's less shocking than it maybe should be.May be old news, but haven't seen anyone mention it. Jared Rosholt's been removed from the UFC Rankings index.
