With addition of several bouts, Prestige FC 1 lineup nearly finalized

prestige FC 1 Several bouts have been added to brand new Saskatchewan MMA organization Prestige FC's inaugural event taking place next month. The first addition is a main card fight between Saskatchewan talent Josh Heinz (2-1) and Brazilian Maicon da Silva Lemos (2-0) in a light heavyweight bout. Heinz had a perfect record as an amateur fighter and began his pro career with two straight first-round finishes including a 10-second knockout win against Paul Grebinski. He lost his last fight via first-round TKO. His opponent, Lemos, is undefeated and is coming off a first-round stoppage win over Bruno Machado Amaral at Mota Fight 10. Also added to the main card is a bantamweight scrap between Tristar product Ilias Sanoudakis (3-0) and tough veteran Eric Wilson (6-6). Montreal, Quebec's Sanoudakis has won back-to-back first-round submission victories in his last two outings. Wilson, a native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has earned finishes in half of his wins and has been in the cage with several notables throughout his six-year career including a full three-round tussle with Josh Hill. In the headliner of the undercard, Montreal’s Domenic Ruccolo (3-1) takes on Thomas Richardson (2-0) of Winnipeg, in a welterweight showdown. Ruccolo got back into the winning column earlier this year with a submission victory over Kevin Genereux. His only pro-loss was to Matt Socholotiuk by decision. Richardson hasn't fought for nearly a year when he fought and defeated Corey Atkinson at King of the Cage: Madness in Winnipeg. Winnipeg’s Steve Roy (2-1) battles Marcello Solinas (0-1) in a light heavyweight contest and hometown favorite Sheldon Leblanc (2-1) squares off with welterweight prospect Corey Atkinson (4-5). Roy is riding a two-fight winning streak with a big win over Dan Juricic at Super Fight League 42 last month in Alberta, and a victory also at the KOTC: Madness event last year. Solinas had one professional bout in 2003 and competed as an amateur in 2009 when he picked up a stoppage win over William Knox, but is returning from a six year layoff. Leblanc returns from an eight-year layoff from the sport. He last competed in 2007 and defeated Scott Dellinger via submission. Atkinson has competed twice already in 2015, but is coming off a loss to Rocky Biggs this past May. Prior to that, he finished Connor Derry. Prestige FC 1 takes place live from Crescent Point Place in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada on Oct. 24.
